Clinic Hours: Tues Wed Thurs Fri 2-6pm (Closed Mondays)
Our clinic provides affordable acupuncture healthcare with individualized treatments in recliner chairs in a community healing space in Albuquerque's South Valley. This style of treatment is inspired by how acupuncture is traditionally practiced in Asia, where low-cost treatments are offered in a group setting, with great success. Community acupuncture helps you get treatment often enough to feel better.
We offer a $15 - $35 sliding scale fee for acupuncture treatments. Our patients decide what they pay on this scale. No income verification required. First-time consultation and paperwork fee is an additional $10, only on the first visit. We accept cash or checks, (NO debit/credit cards). We do not accept insurance, but can provide you a receipt that you can submit to your insurance. The clinic does not receive grants, state, or federal money or insurance reimbursement, so we rely on patients paying with each treatment to provide our affordable services.
We treat many common health conditions including: Back pain, Neck/Shoulder pain, Sciatica, Arthritis, Chronic pain, Allergies, Asthma, Anxiety, Common Cold/Flu, Depression, Digestive problems, Fatigue, Headaches, Insomnia, PMS, Sports Injuries.
Red Bird Community Acupuncture is a clinic member of POCA (People's Organization for Community Acupuncture), a national cooperative of community acupuncture (CA) clinics; their website provides a listing of CA clinics around the country and ways to join as a community member to support creating more CA clinics. https://www.pocacoop.com Join the movement!
